For many years, the windmill at Sterling Park has been a beautiful and iconic part of our community. Unfortunately, due to its age and wear, it has developed a serious problem — it now squeaks and squeals loudly, often throughout the day and night, disturbing the peace and sleep of our neighbors and residents. What was once a charming landmark has become a growing source of frustration, stress, and sleepless nights for many families who live nearby.

After careful research, we’ve found the solution: a company can replace the oil box and fan blades, which are the source of the noise. Welding is not an option, so these parts must be replaced by professionals. The cost of these repairs is more than we can reasonably cover on our own. Every donation — no matter the amount — goes directly toward restoring the windmill so it can return to being the peaceful and beautiful feature it was always meant to be.
