Hi, as you know the pathway leading down to the beach of Saltwick Bay is in need of some TLC.

I'm planning on repairing the missing steps and hand rail at the steep section on the path. While measuring the steps today it was clear just how much they need to be fixed, i was only there for 30 mins and saw a man slip and fall, and i also helped a husband lift his wife up the path from the missing steps.

My plan is to repair two of the hand rail posts that are rotten at the bottom, replace the two rotten boards on each side of the path that holds the steps in place and also the 3x steps that are completely missing.

i have the tools, time and skills to carry out the repairs. Im hopping to raise enough funds for the materials to carry out the work.

i have broken down the materials below

2x timber posts 75mm x 75mm 2100cm = £17 each

2x boxes or coach screws M6 x 30 = £2.88 each

2x packs of heavy duty angle 50mm x 50mm = £11.78 each

1x box of Timber Fixing Screw Tan 7 x 150mm = £26.58

3x 1.2m scaffold boards, 2x 3.90m, plus delivery = £121.68

Which if I did my maths right is £214 in total. :-)
