Movement saved me on more than one difficult day. Walking and running have been a huge part of my own mental health journey, helping me find strength, hope, and healing when things felt overwhelming. Because of that personal experience, I am joining the July Walk/Run to support Stop Soldier Suicide and give back to those who have served our country.
I believe no one should have to face their struggles alone. Service members and veterans carry heavy burdens, and too many quietly suffer. Stop Soldier Suicide works to change that by using data-driven outreach and suicide-specific intervention services to connect people to the help they need. Their mission to reduce veteran suicide is personal to me and aligns with everything I have learned from moving through my own recovery.
Every step I take is a reminder that progress is possible and that connection matters. Your support helps provide resources, outreach, and life-saving interventions for military men and women in crisis. Together we can offer hope, practical help, and a real chance at healing.
Please consider donating to support Stop Soldier Suicide. Your gift brings vital services and hope to veterans and service members who need it most. Thank you for helping me make a difference, one step at a time.
