Stephanie Finley's Bathroom

Hi, my name is Jesse Hostetler and I'm raising money to rebuild a bathroom for Stephanie Finley. I've had the pleasure of meeting Stephanie through our mutual friend Fong Wong. This project is the product of Fong's big heart and desire to help her friends and community. Instead of Christmas or birthday presents, Fong asked her family and friends to donate to help rebuild Stephanie's bathroom. Stephanies bathroom hasn't been updated in a very long time, probably over 50 years. The tub hasn't worked in about 5 years forcing Stephanie to shower at friends' houses because it's the only bathroom in her house.

When I investigated what needed to be done to repair the tub, I quickly realized that it was far past repair. The floor under the tub was completely rotted out on the drain side and the tub had dropped two inches into the floor, breaking the drain and causing further water damage to the structure.

The water damage is so bad that the exterior wall needs to be reframed from the foundation up to the floor height. The wall studs were rotted through to the point that the exterior wall sheathing was all that was holding the wall up. All funds raised will go towards framing, insulating, waterproofing, and installing a simple but functional bathroom for Stephanie.
