Hi everyone! My name is Lexi Inman, and I’m raising money for a cause that means a lot to me all proceeds will go straight to the Domestic Violence Hotline. Tomorrow starts Domestic Violence Awareness month. 1 in 3 women experience domestic violence in their life. This is something I hold close to my heart as I have been through it myself. Many women take years to leave their abuser and some never do. It is important to support other women who have experienced this or are experiencing it. Many women will continue to go back into these same situations or will blame themselves for what has happened to them. I blamed myself for many years and never thought I would let myself put up with abuse for so long. I now have a passion in helping others who may have experienced DV. With all of that being said.
♀️ Jess Marie and I are raising awareness - Walk a Mile a Day for Domestic Violence Awareness Month
This October, I will be walking 1 mile a day to raise awareness for Domestic Violence Awareness Month. My goal is to raise funds to support the National Domestic Violence Hotline, which provides 24/7 confidential support to survivors and their loved ones.
You’re invited to join me!
• Walk alongside me (wherever you are!) and post a photo using a hashtag like #WalkForDVAM or #StepUpForDV.
• Donate—every dollar goes toward helping survivors and spreading awareness.
• Wear a purple ribbon! If you’d like one, let me know and I’ll provide one for you.
Together, step by step, we can raise awareness and show survivors they are not alone.
If you or someone you know is experiencing domestic violence, please reach out to the National Domestic Violence Hotline at 1-800-799-7233 or text “START” to 88788.
National Domestic Violence Hotline
The National Domestic Violence Hotline answers the call to support and shift power back to those affected by relationship abuse.
Every contribution, big or small, makes a real impact. Even just a few dollars can help move this mission forward and reach those who need it most.
If you can’t donate right now, sharing this fundraiser is also incredibly helpful. Thank you so much for your kindness and generosity. It means the world to me.
