Hi! I am Stefania (Nia), and I am a pediatric cardiology fellow in Chicago, IL.

Ever since I came to the USA from Ecuador - 10 years ago - to pursue my career goal to become a pediatric cardiologist, it has been my dream to be able to return and give back to children in need in South America.

I am honored to have been asked by Dr. Luca Vricella, to join his amazing team of physicians, surgeons and nurses, in a Surgical Mission Trip to Costa Rica with the foundation "Surgeons of Hope".
