I am 22 years old and live in Playas de Rosarito, Mexico.
For the past 5 years, I have been fighting severe Myalgic Encephalomyelitis / Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (ME/CFS) and dysautonomia.
At first, the symptoms slowly limited my life, but two years ago I became completely bedridden. Since then, I have depended on a feeding tube to survive, as I can no longer eat normally.
⸻
My reality today
My condition worsens every single day. I am at the most severe level of ME/CFS, living in an extreme state of overload where even breathing, moving, or trying to communicate triggers painful crises.
• I weigh only 30 kg (66 lbs), leaving me extremely weak and fragile.
• Every small movement, even the urge to urinate, worsens my condition.
• I suffer from dystonias that suffocate me, constant tics, spasms, and akathisia that make me lose all control of my body.
• My hypersensitivity is so extreme that I cannot tolerate human contact, noise, light, or even simple external stimuli without collapsing.
• My muscles are rigid and tense, yet wasted and thin from lack of movement.
• I constantly produce secretions and often need help just to move an arm.
• I am trapped in a chronic state where everything I do makes me worse.
Even writing this drains me, but I do it because I fear becoming completely cut off from communication. My phone is my only defense to share what I’m going through.

What I need to stay alive
My only source of nutrition is the medical formula Peptamen 1.5.
I also urgently need essential supplies that my family can no longer afford:
• Syringes and feeding tubes.
• Electrolytes and supplements such as potassium, magnesium, thiamine, and phosphorus.
• Basic caregiving support from someone trained to move me without making me worse.
I also dream of accessing advanced therapies that could bring me some relief, such as non-invasive vagal nerve stimulation, rTMS, hyperbaric oxygen therapy, and metabolic support. But right now, the most urgent need is simply to cover the basics that keep me alive.
⸻
Why I’m asking for your help
My family has done everything they can, but they can no longer cover the costs.
I depend 100% on others for everything, and without resources my situation is extremely vulnerable.
That is why today I am asking for your help:
• Your donation allows me to keep receiving the medical formula and vital supplies I need.
• Your support gives me a chance at a little more stability and dignity.
• Sharing this campaign helps reach more people who may be able to help.
⸻
Thank you
I know these are difficult times for everyone, but every donation, every gesture, and every share makes a huge difference in my life.
Thank you from the bottom of my heart for reading my story, for your empathy, and for your support.
With your help, I can keep fighting.
Stefan
