There are now over 10 million+ displaced Ukrainian citizens and over 4 million+ migrating from Ukraine to other European countries. Many Ukrainian women and children are now on their way to Poland and Paris to seek asylum, but there is a lack of shelter and basic necessities, as well as a lack of medical support, legal support and employment opportunities for asylum seekers.
Our goal at Serve The City Paris is now twofold. This summer, we are sending a team of volunteers from Paris to Kraków Poland, in order to help over 40 Ukrainian refugee families and their children. Second, we aim to provide donated items and donations from our volunteers, our friends and our families to purchase necessities such as sheets, beds, canned goods, clothes for females and children, hygiene products, toys, books, legal support, transportation, for this new group of displaced refugees in Europe.
Our partner UPS (United Postal Service) has also offered to transport at no charge, these items to our Serve The City offices in Poland and Romania. Meanwhile Serve The City Paris is also helping search for housing so the Ukrainian women and children refugees do not end up in the streets of Paris.
We’ve set up this emergency GoFundMe.com fundraising campaign. How can we help? How can you help? …Donate whatever amount you can, and pass this email onto 3 others (friends, family members and fellow volunteers). If you have items to donate, please visit the Serve The City Paris website to send a note to our info@ email address.
We cannot change what has happened in the past, but we can change what is to come. Let's work together!
Thank you for your support.
