Repossessing My Repossessed Car

What's this for? Smells like e-begging?

It is e-begging. My car was just repossessed and I can hardly afford to think at this point. I have until February 17th to come up with $1,637.81 to give my auto lender to reinstate the loan, plus some repossession fees, or I'm more or less screwed.

I know this is a long shot, but please help me stay afloat if there is any way at all. Basically hoping for a future in which I both have my MacBook and also have my car. I care more about the car, but having a computer helps when you work in tech.

What happened? Weren't you recently not broke?

Yeah, sort of. I quit my job about 9 months ago to focus on nonprofit endeavors such as TripSit, re:dose, Confidant, and Crisis Text Line. Also did a lot of unpaid work for Bunk Police, the Bluelight.org community, Dosetest, and PsychonautWiki. I kind of messed up here and gave everything away that I had, but the volunteer work I do is in the spirit of saving lives, not that I necessarily have saved any at all. I probably don't deserve the help, but if there's any value in the work I've been doing then I figure it won't hurt to try.

I've been going through some pretty heavy depressive periods lately and let things fall way behind. I'm looking for new work actively, but I can do gig work when I get the car back. It's pretty much the last thing I had to lose and I'm close to just actually losing it.

So you get the car back, then what? Dig a new grave?

Gig work will keep me afloat in the meantime, I just wasn't doing it before. It also gets me out of here... I could probably do with a move. I literally am stuck sitting in this room every day of my life. I just want to drive away and reset.

What about a job? Can't you work?

I'm actively seeking work but it's really hard to even think about that without my car, and with debt piling up. Will work the first job I find. I have had some trouble making interviews from where I am... It's like one crisis after the next and I need to reset.
