Static Site for Family Promise Greater Kingsport

Family Promise of Greater Kingsport has now purchased a static site to house our homeless families with minor children. Families with children make up the fastest-growing segment of the homeless population. Family Promise of Greater Kingsport provides a safe, family-oriented place to stay, nutritious meals, and mentoring to help homeless families with children under 18 on their quest to regain independence.

Your donation will help to cover the much-needed renovations of our newly purchased multi-family building in the Kingsport community.

Our plan is to offer an overnight safe environment for our families for up to 90 days while they are obtaining affordable housing and employment. Family Promise already has an established day center where caring community and staff members provide guidance, encouragement and supportive services to help families find and retain permanent housing. Family Promise provides stability and hope to homeless families with children. Our mission touches the hearts of those who volunteer and draws together a community of faith that builds hope and provides temporary shelter and nurture for homeless families with children.
