12,000 Voices - Performance and Discussion

We are thrilled to have director Devin Shacket (The New York Drama Center / House of Cards Casting) lead the cast through a moving performance. This play highlights just how powerful one thoughtful, passionate citizen's voice can be.

Actors include: Whitney Andrews, Reese Antoinette, Lindsay Brill, Cerra Cardwell, Christiana Cefalu, Caitlin Clouthier, Morgan Everitt, Bethany Heinrich, Tannia Kustka, Dolores C Nolan, Abbie Painter, Anita Rosner, Amelia Windom. 

Following the reading, Shereese Mullings (Island Voice/ Canvas Institute/ Liberty video series creator, actor) will moderate a panel discussion covering issues of Race, Gender, Justice and how we can all take action to start conversations, learn from each other and implement change. Your Voice Matters! 

Our panelists include Debbie Ann Paige - Policy Analyst, MilVets Affairs & ERC Council on Communities of Color, Historian; Theresa Thanjan - Documentary Filmmaker and Immigrant Affairs Advocate, and Andrea Alejandra Gonzales -  a young Indigenous-Latina Queer Activist and an Advocate for marginalized youth on issues like gender equity, gun violence, and racial justice.

Please help us with production costs for stage reading and lively panel discussion. Donations of $25 will receive 1 event ticket; $50. will include 2 tickets plus bonus-event t shirt! Proceeds will help development of civic engagement programming.
