Our Story

We are a simple family from northern Gaza.

My husband is a music teacher, and I was a kindergarten director.

Our only dream was to raise our four children in peace.

But on October 7th, everything changed.

What Happened

A missile hit our home while we were inside.

My daughter was badly injured and needed 20 stitches in her head, and my husband was wounded too.

In seconds, the home we spent 20 years building turned into rubble.

We lost everything, our furniture, clothes, memories, and sense of safety.

Since that day, we have been displaced more than 15 times.

We lived through hunger, fear, cold, and moments where we truly believed we wouldn’t survive.

I was also injured by shrapnel in my head.

My youngest daughter now suffers from fainting spells due to trauma and needs psychological support.

Children Trying to Hold Onto Their Dreams

Even through the war, my children still dream:

My son, a computer engineering student, lost his laptop in the bombing and cannot continue his studies without it.

My daughter, a talented digital art student, lost her drawing tablet and tools. She now draws on any piece of paper she can find so her dream doesn’t die.

They deserve a chance to keep learning, to keep hoping, to keep dreaming.

What We Urgently Need

1. A small, safe home to rent after we leave our relative’s house.

2. Food, we barely manage one meal daily.

3. Medical treatment for my husband and youngest daughter.

4. Laptops and study tools for my two university-aged children.

5. Passports, permits, and travel costs once the border opens.

A Mother’s Plea

We have nothing left.

All I ask for is the chance to protect my children…

a chance for them to live, not just survive.
