Hunger Relief for an amazing place I visited

These pictures and videos are from last weekend where we were able to feed a lot of kids with some of the money raised so far!

Hi, my name is Jaden and recently I took a trip to Africa with my mom and brother. While we were there, we visited the largest slum in Africa: Kibera in Nairobi, Kenya. It was a life changing experience. We met a lot of wonderful people and children and I have decided that I want to raise money for them. Although there are so many needs to raise money for, the one I feel is the most important is food insecurity. Most of the children are lucky if they get one meal a day. And that is usually in school, if they can a) afford to pay for school and b) they can afford to pay for the school lunch program. The school lunch program costs only $200 a year. In addition, these kids may go an entire weekend with little food, so a friend of ours that works to help the people of Kibera has a Saturday feeding program where he says "my friend and I run a feeding program for the kids every Saturday. We basically spend money from our own pockets and collect what we can from friends. This is all the kids get to eat over the weekend. We basically cook porridge for them and we play with them."

I want to help raise as much money as I can to help my friend feed as many children as he can. I have seen these children. I have played with them. I have been to some of their homes. They are amazing and despite their living conditions, all they do is smile. It is incredible. Please if you can, donate to my cause. I can personally guarantee that the money will go directly to them. Any amount is appreciated but if you would like to pay for a whole year for a child, I can send you a picture of the child you have helped personally. Either way, you will be making a huge difference. Just imagine not eating all weekend....or going to school or work and having nothing to eat for breakfast or all day long. How are they expected to learn or even play with no food in their bellies?
Please help!
Thank you,
Jaden Elliott
