As community advocates for over 24 years, we are expanding our workshops and events to start-up an official Non-profit organization. It is also important to mention that three years ago, I wrote a children's book with that was Co-authored with my friend, Nyasha Williams, that will be published later this year. The story is called "The Great Shift," where a child wakes up and is excited to share that there is nothing wrong in the world any longer and we have nothing left to fear. The child is excited to take us through what our future community and world can look like, as told through a child's eyes. At the end of the book, there is a picture with many shoes of different sizes and the text will include a phrase, "What shoes will you fill?," as this is a call to action. What I began to realize last year, was that the message of this story needs to come to life and we actually need to create the solutions to help heal our communities and world. We have a goal to open our first physical location for Bear Roots Resource Center in 2024 and expand our locations in the future. Our video demonstrates examples of what we currently offer and future plans. We thank you in advance for your time to learn about our cause and support our community. Tax ID #81-0727938
