Starting again after the LA fires

Life has a way of testing us in unimaginable ways. As a teenager, I lost my family home and everything I owned to a fire. I never thought I’d face that heartbreak again, but here I am. This time, it’s the devastating Palisades fires that have taken everything I had. 

 The day the fires erupted, I was about to move out of the house. As someone who is used to helping out others, I’m stepping into being able to be held in the support of the amazing community around me. Nearly everyone I know in LA has shown up and gathered around those in need with so much kindness—offering homes, bed, clothes, food, transport and so much more to everyone displaced. 

 Now, I’m reaching out to ask for your support in rebuilding. Even the smallest contribution can make a huge difference. The road ahead feels overwhelming, but with your love and help it makes a huge difference.
