I had allot of problems when i was a teenager and a young man. Most of which i brought on myself. I made allot of mistakes, did allot of stupid things that im not proud of. Life and death mistakes. I've been on my death bed as a teenager waiting to die from the things that i did. That should have been my wake up call but it wasn't enough for me. When i was in my mid 20's i came across a martial arts gym near my house. Rising Phoenix Martial Arts Academy. My younger brother bought me a 3 month membership as a birthday present... Those 3 months changed my life forever. Ive been training, fighting, and coaching there ever since.  Now im 42yrs old. I recently have lost 3 people in my family to suicide. I believe they all could have been prevented.  I want to find a way to help young people who are lost and struggling to find a way to love there life. I want to give something back to the community. I don't want to make money doing it, the money is to convert my garage into a proper training facility. Im in construction and will do all the work myself i just need the materials and permits to make it happen. I have many years experience, Im a good coach and trainer and i want to show people that boxing and martial arts is a great outlet to develop self worth and self control. If i can help one person get his/her life on track it would all be worth it to me. To keep them from going down the path i chose when i was young and dumb. If my goal is reached or exceeded any left over funds will be donated to suicide and mental health awareness in my step brother and step nephews name and memory.
