THE CONTEXT

Right after October 7th, Stanford's campus has been a place for public support of terrorism. People who support Hamas have been loud, proud, and make it clear that they don't believe October 7th even happened. Thousands of people have marched across campus saying "intifada, intifada" and writing "by any means necessary." They say they are "so proud of their resistance," and have refused to condemn Hamas. They also have made their hatred of the United States of America very clear. This is the narrative they are spreading to students at one of America's top universities. This is the story that will be known to America's future leaders.

OUR RESPONSE

So we're taking a stand. Students at Stanford, some generous donors, and Stanford Chabad have combined forces to start Stanford's Blue and White Tent. We give passerby snacks, articles, information, and engage in friendly dialogue to counter the anti-Israel and pro-terrorism sentiment on campus. We proudly display posters countering the pro-terrorist narrative on campus. We proudly stand up for Israel, the United States, and the rest of Western world, offering a place where it is safe to be a proud Jew on campus. Our efforts have already been remarkable. Hundreds of students, faculty, staff, and community members have stopped by our tent thanking us for speaking out, and others have passed through the tent and have left with changed minds. We've hosted several speakers, ranging from survivors of October 7th to a Muslim Israeli woman, and invited students across campus - we've seen how these talks educate many students who have no knowledge of the situation.

Your donation will directly support:

  • Educational Materials: Books, articles, and multimedia resources for visitors.
  • Event Hosting: Funding speakers and events.
  • Community Outreach: Expanding our reach to involve more of the Stanford community by printing flyers, buying snacks, and stickers to hand out to passerby, etc.

A Place of Unity:
The Blue and White Tent is more than just a tent against misinformation; it's a positive space where the history and culture of Israel and Judaism are celebrated, where open dialogue is encouraged, and where education triumphs over ignorance.

Join us in making a difference. Your support is not just a donation; it's an investment in peace, understanding, and the future of our community.
