They weren’t shouted by an outsider, but by a man who knows the cost of the uniform better than most: Brian McGinnis. Brian is a United States Marine veteran (2000–2004) and a veteran firefighter. He went to the Capitol not just as a citizen, but as a leader demanding accountability for the lives of our sons and daughters. A Marine who defended our freedoms abroad—and a firefighter who protected our homes—was physically broken in the heart of our government for daring to question the march toward war.
