Our brother, Willie Grant, has recently underwent surgery and is currently in the ICU at Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, where he is recovering and being closely cared for. Seeing someone you love in the ICU is something no family is ever prepared for, and this has been an incredibly emotional and overwhelming time for all of us.

We live over two hours away, but being there for Willie—sitting with him, supporting him, and making sure he knows he’s not alone—means everything to us. The distance, time away from work, and day-to-day needs have added financial stress to an already heavy situation. This fundraiser is to help support Willie and the family as we stay close and focus fully on his healing.

How the Funds Will Be Used

Funds raised will help ease the financial burden during Willie’s recovery and will be used for:

• Travel costs to and from Seattle (gas, parking, tolls)

• Lodging or overnight stays near Harborview Medical Center

• Meals while traveling and spending long days at the hospital

• Lost wages and time off work for family members

• Medical bills, medications, and follow-up care

• Other unexpected expenses that come with an extended hospital stay

Any funds raised beyond immediate needs will go toward Willie’s continued recovery and future medical-related expenses. We will share updates as he continues to heal.
