On December 20th our family received devastating news. My father Alejandro Lorenzo was arrested by immigration and customs enforcement authorities. My mother Paula Lorenzo and my brother Alexander Lorenzo were in the car with him when this happened. This was a very traumatic situation for our family. They were on their way to pick up a family friend to take to church because she did not have a ride. He was pulled over immediately after leaving his house. He is currently detained in Los Angeles and awaiting transfer. Alejandro Lorenzo has a wife Paula, 4 children, 2 of them which are minors. He also just recently became a grandfather. He has been living in California for more than 20 years without a criminal record. He is a hardworking and honest man that has always provided for his family. He is a man of God that is always attending and helping his church. Always putting others before himself. With his recent detainment this has brought so much stress and sadness to the family. Our family is asking for help with legal fees, and expenses. We know times can be tough, but anything anyone can do to help would be greatly appreciated.
