My cousin Stacy & her pup Charlie drove across the country (from California to Maryland) with the approval from her boss so that she could be closer to family. She was going to be able to keep her job after she transferred to the East Coast.

My sister, Gina, flew out to California to make the journey alongside them; they had a blast.

Stacy & Charlie arrived at their new home on January 1st, excited to start this new chapter & resume her job on January 5th. The excitement was short-lived when she received notification from her employer on January 2nd that she was being laid off. No warning, this news came out of no where and as a total shock.

Stacy is recovering from a recent hospitalization as well and the added stress of a job loss is not what she needs.

Stacy is a go-getter; she’s already applied for multiple jobs in her new hometown. Any leads on remote / work from home positions would be welcomed with open arms as well.

We as a family would like to lessen the burden and help offset some of the necessary living expenses while she & Charlie adjust to their new home.
