Hi, I’m sharing something deeply personal about my sister, Shannon Pelkey. Earlier this month, Shannon was admitted to Albany Medical Center with a serious arm infection that has required multiple surgeries. She’s still in the hospital, will require more surgery, and the doctors say the road to recovery will be long. Because she won’t be able to work for an extended period, Shannon and her two kids are counting on the kindness of family, friends, and our community.

As most know her from McKenzie's Grill and now Blue Line Brewery, she is one of the hardest working women I know. She is full of love, kindness, and understanding for everyone she knows and interacts with.
