Rylee was a deeply caring and loving young man who brought light into the lives of everyone who knew him. His gentle spirit and kind heart made him someone people naturally gravitated toward. Whether it was offering a helping hand, a listening ear, or simply a warm smile, Rylee was always there for his family. He had a quiet strength and unwavering loyalty that made those closest to him feel supported, valued, and never alone.
Rylee was autistic, and he saw the world through a uniquely beautiful lens. He believed in people, led with trust and sincerity, and gave others the benefit of the doubt—even when they didn’t deserve it. Tragically, that trust was taken advantage of when Rylee was senselessly murdered during a robbery. His life was stolen in a moment of violence, leaving behind a family and community shattered by grief.
Rylee’s father, a dedicated Colorado Springs police officer, has spent his career protecting others—only now to face the unimaginable loss of his own son. Still, the love Rylee shared, the kindness he embodied, and the memories he created will never be forgotten. His legacy will live on in every life he touched and in the hearts of those who will forever honor him.
