My family is going through something we never imagined. My little brother, at age 13, was recently and unexpectedly diagnosed with leukemia. Specifically, AML. AML is acute myeloid leukemia, a cancer of the blood and bone marrow.
One day he was a healthy, energetic kid, and the next we were sitting in a hospital room hearing the words no family ever wants to hear.
He has already begun treatment, and while we are staying strong for him, the emotional and financial stress is overwhelming. Our family is doing everything they can, but the costs of hospital stays, tests, medications, missed work, and travel add up quickly. We want to focus all our energy on helping him fight, heal, and stay hopeful—but we can’t do it alone.
We are asking for help to ease the financial burden so my brother can get the best care possible without worry. Every donation—no matter the size—means more time we can spend supporting him instead of stressing about bills.
