My name is April and I'm trying to raise money for my cousin Rebekah Braswell Bane. She has recently been the victim of domestic abuse and is unable to work for an unknown amount of time while she heals from her injuries. I am including a brief summary of the things that her attacker did to her. I can also tell you that many things are not being said on here to provide a small sense of privacy to my cousin and I hate talking about it at all because it's horrific and completely tears my heart in half. I love you Rebekah and I hope and pray you heal quickly and you can continue to afford your rent and car while healing. I pray anyone reading this find a way to donate something to my cousin to help tide her over. My cousin was not in a relationship anymore with her Ex boyfriend Robbie he was doing everything in his power to control her even though she moved out. She got numerous protective orders against him which he always broke. The police were after him and he decided to just go kidnap her because he was already getting in trouble anyway. After failing to kidnap her in which he stabbed her and dragged her into the car she had to leap from the moving car to get away. After she got out the car he turned around and ran her over. She has a broken knee and broken ribs and a broken pelvis. She also has a fractured left shoulder and a fractured lower back. Rebekah had a lung collapse and has terrible road rash all over her body. She's been in the hospital for almost 4 nights now. Happened right after Fourth of July where she had a wonderful night with her kids who are safe and thank goodness had the presence of mind to call the police right away from inside the apartment and not get in the way of violence.
