"My name is Ramsey, and I’m a member of the Sprayberry Youth Football community. We are a family that looks out for our own, and right now, one of our families in this program is facing a series of unimaginable trials that no one should have to carry alone."
A Season of Unthinkable Loss
"The challenges began in November when she lost her father. While the family was still grieving, tragedy struck again in January: a lightning strike ignited their home, causing a fire that has displaced them for at least a year while the house is rebuilt.
They are now navigating the heavy burden of paying a mortgage on a home they cannot live in, while simultaneously needing $3,000 for a security deposit on a temporary rental to keep their family together."
A Fight for Life
"Just as they were trying to find a 'new normal' in the wake of the fire, the situation turned critical. Last week, her only son (Coach Tank Wilson) went in for a scheduled procedure. Due to severe complications, he went into cardiac arrest and is currently on life support, fighting for his future.
Our friend is now split between a hospital bedside and the urgent need to secure a roof for her family."
How You Can Help
"We are raising funds to cover the $3,000 rental deposit so this mother can focus entirely on her son’s recovery without the looming threat of housing instability.--
How you can support:
Donate: Any amount helps us reach that $3,000 goal for their temporary housing.
Pray: We ask for fervent prayers for her son’s healing and the family's strength.
Share: Please share this with the wider Sprayberry and Marietta communities.
Thank you for standing with our Football Family during their darkest hour."
