For decades, Doug Waterbury served his community as a firefighter — running toward danger so others could make it home safely. A hardworking family man, he spent his life providing, protecting, and putting others before himself. He has always been the first to show up when someone needed help.

Now, he’s facing a battle he never expected: prostate cancer.

Treatments, travel, and time away from family and duties have created a financial strain on our family. Even through pain and uncertainty, his spirit hasn’t changed — he still worries more about everyone else than he does about himself.
