Help My Mom Recover From a Financial Scam

This is very difficult for our family to share, but my mom was recently the victim of a sophisticated financial scam that resulted in the loss of $20,000—money she worked hard to save over many years.

The scammers impersonated legitimate representatives and convinced her she needed to urgently protect her finances. Acting in good faith and under pressure, she deposited the funds through a crypto Kiosk. A police report has been filed, and we have contacted the appropriate authorities, but unfortunately the funds cannot be recovered.

This situation has been heartbreaking for her. Beyond the financial loss, the emotional toll has been heavy. She is a kind, honest person who would never ask for help unless it was truly needed.
