Our community has always been strongest when we come together to support one another. Today, we are asking for that support for someone who has spent his life giving to others — an educator who has dedicated his career to helping students grow, learn, and believe in themselves.

For years, Matt Sivacek has been a mentor, a role model, and a constant source of encouragement for countless students and families. Whether inside the classroom, after school, or around the community, he has always been there to lend a helping hand and inspire those around him.

Some time ago, he bravely battled cancer and, after a long and difficult fight, believed he had finally beaten it. Unfortunately, his cancer has returned. This news has been devastating for him and his family, and the road ahead will require intensive treatments and therapies that come with overwhelming medical expenses. As Matt begins this next phase of treatment, his family is facing a very different financial reality than before. The circumstances surrounding his care have changed significantly, and the cost of ongoing treatment and time away from work are creating a tremendous strain for him and his family. Simply put, Matt needs our support now more than ever.

As he focuses on fighting this battle once again, we want to help ease the financial burden placed on his family. The cost of treatments, medical care, travel, and time away from work is significant, and no family should have to face that stress alone while dealing with something so serious.
