Hi everyone,

This is not easy for me to write, but I’m reaching out to my community during a really vulnerable time in my life.

For the past two years, I have been a full-time stay-at-home mom caring for my son. Being his primary caregiver has meant that I haven’t had a steady income, as my days have been devoted to raising him and being present for his early years instead of placing him in daycare.

Recently, his father and I separated, and I was asked to leave our home. This has left my son and me in a difficult transition while I work to rebuild stability for us.

Right now, I am navigating what it means to become a single mom overnight—searching for stable housing, finding ways to create income again, and doing everything I can to keep life as safe and steady as possible for my little one.

Because I spent the past two years focused on caregiving, I am starting from a place where I need support to get back on my feet.

Funds raised here will go toward:

• Temporary housing and living expenses

• Food, gas, and daily needs for my son and me

• Childcare support when needed so I can work

• Possible legal consultations and administrative costs as I navigate custody and my rights as a parent

• Rebuilding stability so we can move into a safe and permanent home

This situation has been scary and uncertain, but I’m doing my best to move forward with strength and determination for my child.
