Support for Julie’s Recovery Journey

Julie has always been a source of strength and love for our family, but the past four years have brought her unimaginable health challenges. She has faced leukocytosis, multiple benign tumors throughout, and fibromyalgia. On top of these, Julie was diagnosed with a monoallelic mutation of the RAD51C gene, which led to a full hysterectomy and a double mastectomy with reconstruction. During her surgeries, doctors discovered and removed additional benign tumors in her uterus and breast. Despite all these procedures, the cause of her recurring tumors remains a mystery, and her medical journey is far from over.

Because of her recent surgeries, Julie has been unable to work for the past two months and will not be able to return until mid-January. While she is on FMLA and disability, the income is not enough to cover her bills and the travel expenses required for frequent doctor appointments in Dallas. The financial strain has added to the stress of her recovery, making it even harder for her to focus on healing.
