Aloha friends and family,

I’m reaching out to invite you to stand with Hawaiʻi and support communities impacted across the islands. My heart has been heavy watching what is happening, and Hawaiʻi holds a very special place in my heart. I felt a deep pull to do more for the people and families who are hurting right now.

I have been taking time to reflect on how to show up in a way that is truly meaningful and respectful. I keep coming back to mālama ʻāina, caring for the land, the people, and the community as a whole. I do not want to just feel this and move on. I want to show up with intention.

This fundraiser is one way I am choosing to take action. All funds raised here will go to the Hawaii Community Foundation, supporting disaster relief, housing, and long-term recovery for communities impacted across Hawaiʻi. I created this fundraiser to help make sharing and contributing more accessible, and both options support the same efforts. These donations help empower local initiatives, provide essential resources, and support families navigating loss, displacement, and rebuilding.

I chose this organization because of their deep connection to local communities and their commitment to ensuring support reaches those who need it most.
