On the morning of January 21st 2026, Federico Mayorga was taken by ICE. On his way to work ICE stopped him and two other workers. He has been detained since.

He is a neighbor, a father, a husband.

Federico is dedicated and hardworking and is the primary provider for his family. As you can imagine, this loss is devastating. Leaving his wife, 12 year old son and Jennifer, his daughter behind.

Jennifer is 24 and is navigating the legal system for her father. The family is seeking help from those who can provide donations for legal services, immigration costs, and day to day expenses.

Anything helps, whether it's share or a small donation. The Mayorga family appreciates anyone who can provide assistance in this difficult time.

01/23/26 Update:

A master calendar hearing has been scheduled for February 2nd where any immigration charges made against Federico will be addressed and bond motion hearing (possibly) will be announced. It is important to note that Federico was never served a notice to appear before his detainment, which is highly illegal. We are hoping that Federico can rejoin his family soon, the bond motion hearing will let us know if he can come home.
