We are raising funds for Dani, my dance student, who recently experienced the devastating loss of her mother. Overnight, Dani's world changed forever. In the midst of grief, she has taken on the immense responsibility of caring for and raising her siblings, who are just 8 and 10 years old. While most teenagers are focused on finishing high school and preparing for college, Dani is now navigating the pain of losing a parent while also stepping into the role of caregiver for her younger brother and sister.

Dani is now responsible for covering everyday expenses like housing, food, school needs, childcare, and other essential costs to keep her family together and supported during this incredibly difficult time. She is determined to provide stability, love, and care for her siblings, even as she works toward her own dreams of graduating and attending college. No one should have to face this kind of responsibility alone, especially while grieving such a profound loss.
