Hi! My name is Shane Brooks. My nephew is Cody Bailey. Cody is 39 years old, and has been through an incredibly tough journey. At just 27, he experienced total kidney failure. In 2013, he received his first kidney transplant, but sadly, that kidney failed two years ago, and Cody has been on dialysis ever since — fighting every single day while continuing to work!

Two weeks ago, Cody received a second kidney transplant! We are overjoyed and so relieved. This transplant has given him new hope and a second chance at life. However, the road to recovery is still long. Cody faces 8 to 12 weeks of healing and recovery, during which time he will need help financially to cover his living expenses and medical needs.
