As many of you know, on January 3rd Caleb experienced the very unexpected and unimaginable loss of his father and best friend Shane Champagne. Caleb was the center of Shane’s world and he could not have been any more proud of his many accomplishments, whether it be athletics, academics, or anything in between Shane was always there to give his support. Those who knew Shane best know that under his gruff exterior he was really a big softy who would help any one of us in a time of need. Now we are asking our friends and family to help us support Caleb as he navigates this devastating loss. Caleb is the definition of what you would want your teen to be, athletically and academically gifted and a genuine good person. At just 17 no young man should have to carry the weight of losing his father along with the financial burdens that come with an unexpected loss.
