Hello everyone This is Brett Underwood Alyssa’s brother they need all the help they can get. If you feel led to do so anything helps. Especially Prayers. Thank you and God bless.
I pulled this off her Facebook. Long Read but this is what’s going on.
So we finally got some news after waiting 3 weeks that we would like to share with everyone so that we can create a HUGE prayer chain to keep going in a positive direction. As some of you know I was rushed to the hospital at 21 weeks because Baby A which is my girl, sack had ruptured. Which means she lost a ton of fluid as as most know these baby’s have to have fluid to grow! I was sent home until 24 weeks to be on semi bed rest basically just taking it easy because unfortunately baby’s are not viable for life until 24 weeks. May 3rd I was admitted to Hendricks North I have been on a TON of meds the last couple of days and we are at this point where both baby’s need to stay in as long as possible to survive what they call P-Prom we have heard of a couple successful story’s but with the other problems Baby A has such as FGR ( fetal growth restrictions) and also a two cord vessel to her placenta my OBGYN is giving her 3 weeks to live outside of the womb but again each day she continues to grow is a good direction for a longer life expectancy. We also were able to speak to a MFM (maternal fetal medicine ) doctor from Dallas yesterday who said that she has a 55%-75% survival rate as of yesterday. Baby B which is my boy is doing just fine his is a very BIG boy. We have been so blessed to make it this far and there is no way we could have done this without the help of our family! GOD has his hands on these baby’s and I know he has a plan unfortunately he just won’t tell me!!! God though this whole process has been keeping me at peace in knowing that he has us covered! We have had so many Amazing friends and family reach out during this time to check in and ask if we need anything! I would love to have visits during the day Tim has been working and unfortunately Wyatt is sick so I can’t be around him for now until he is cleared because it could cause harm to the twins. IF you would like to help out or bring anything or come by we would be so incredibly greatful! I think right now we are really settling in and getting used to our new normal for the next 10 weeks! I think right now we are needing things like gift cards to restaurants or food delivery’s and drinks and maybe a homemade meal for Tim the hospital provides food for myself but he has been a trooper on ramen! PLEASE do not feel pressured to provide these things for us but I have had people ask so I just wanted to share what I think would be most helpful.Thank you all for taking the time to read this very lengthy post we appreciate everyone who has has been checking in on us and praying over us during this incredibly difficult time.
