My name is Albin Lavallee. I spent my life as a professional truck driver until I became a whistleblower — and everything changed.

I reported DOT safety violations, food safety issues, engineered standard discrepancies, and problems with the cube system that directly affected public safety. I used the HUMM system and the ethics line — the very tools Sysco claims exist to protect employees and customers.

Instead of fixing the problems, management retaliated against me. My routes were removed twice. I was threatened for making reports. I was pushed into degrading assignments designed to break me. When I was on light duty after an injury, Quality Assurance asked for me — but transportation sent me to scrape labels off a freezer floor for a subcontractor.

I didn’t quit. I documented everything: photos, videos, timelines, emails.

Eventually, the retaliation caused a serious injury. I tore my distal biceps, waited months for an MRI, and ultimately needed a cadaver Achilles tendon graft. My arm will never be the same. I lost the career I worked my whole life for.

Even after surgery, the retaliation continued. My nurse case manager was removed. My physical therapy was delayed. I was pushed into “employability” and removed from the building within 48 hours of sending a whistleblower complaint directly to the CEO.

I did everything right.
I followed every rule.
I used every system they told me to use.

And when the retaliation kept escalating, I took the strongest step a whistleblower can take:

I sent board‑level notice by registered mail.

That means the CEO, the CLO, and the Board of Directors all had documented, signed, timestamped notice of what was happening — and the retaliation still continued.

My case mirrors a major whistleblower case in California. The same patterns. The same systems. The same retaliation. Two coasts, one playbook.

I’m fighting not just for myself, but for every driver, warehouse worker, and frontline employee who could be next.

I’m doing this without representation, while recovering from a life‑changing injury. I’m facing a corporation with unlimited resources, and I’m standing alone in a process designed for people with attorneys.

There is a real-time issue with my case.

The process has moved faster than anyone expected, and critical deadlines are approaching. I’ve reached out to multiple major workers’ rights and whistleblower firms, but securing representation takes time — time I no longer have.

I urgently need a law firm to see this case before these deadlines close in.

If you know any attorneys or firms who fight for workers’ rights, whistleblower retaliation, or corporate misconduct, please tag them or share this page with them.

Your support will help me:

• Secure legal representation
• Keep pushing until the truth is fully seen and addressed

I didn’t ask for this fight — but I won’t walk away from it.

If I win, it won’t just be for me.
It will be for every worker who’s ever been punished for telling the truth.

Thank you for standing with me.
