Standing Strong: Support Abo Kareem a Displaced Fa
Donation protected
Dear compassionate souls,My name is Dr. Mansour Abo Kareem, and I write to you from the heart of a shattered community in Northern Gaza.
Six months ago, my family and I were forced to evacuate our home amidst the relentless turmoil of war. Today, we find ourselves residing in a humble plastic tent in Dair Albalah, clinging to hope amidst the rubble of our former lives.
As a father and devoted husband, the weight of my family's future rests heavily upon my shoulders. We are not just survivors; we are fighters, determined to rebuild our lives despite the immense challenges that confront us daily. Yet, the reality is stark: I cannot afford to provide for my beloved family, comprised of two intelligent daughters and two promising young sons.
The devastation of war extends far beyond physical destruction. It has robbed us of our sense of security, stripped away the opportunity for our children to receive an education, and shattered the dreams we once held dear. Despite our own displacement, my wife selflessly volunteers her time to assist other displaced families in Dair Albalah, a testament to the unwavering spirit of resilience that defines us.
In a life dedicated to advocating for the Palestinian cause, I have seen both triumph and despair. Yet, nothing could prepare me for the sense of helplessness that now engulfs me as I struggle to provide for my family's basic needs. Among the losses suffered in this unfair war are my most cherished possessions: a collection of books amassed over a decade, each one a testament to my passion for knowledge and justice. But amidst the rubble, a flicker of hope remains.
We are not defeated. We refuse to abandon our land, our home, our identity. We are Gaza, and we are here to stay. However, we cannot do it alone. We need your extended helping hands to stand beside us, to support us as we rebuild, to empower us as we fight for our lives and our rights on our own soil.
No matter the amount, your donation will make a difference. As the saying goes, "The raindrops will fill the bucket." Together, let us defy the odds, defy the darkness, and emerge stronger than ever before.
From the depths of our hearts, we thank you for your kindness, your compassion, and your unwavering solidarity.
With hope and gratitude,
Dr. Mansour Abo Kareem
