A Fundraiser To Get ‘Exit Passes’ Through Egypt

<div>Our names are Maher Al-Attar and Samah Alaydi. We are a <strong>young Palestinian couple</strong>, <strong>united by love and resilience, striving to build a new life together despite the devastating war</strong> that has engulfed our homeland.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>Maher's Story</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I, Maher, am 28 years old. For the past nine years, my simplest dream was to finish building my small house, complete my marriage plans, and start a family. After years of hard work, I finally completed my modest apartment. Unfortunately, my city has faced several wars, with the latest conflict causing unimaginable destruction.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>During this war, I sustained a severe injury that led to the amputation of my right leg. Despite this, I survived by God's will. My home, which I had worked so hard to build, was completely destroyed, making it uninhabitable. Tragically, I<strong> also lost my father, my brother's wife, and my brother's seven children</strong>. Our home, once a symbol of hope and a new beginning, became a place of unimaginable loss and sorrow.

</div>

<div><br />

</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/79769079_1722370177975898_r.jpeg" width="100%" />

<div><strong>( Photo of my beloved family's mass grave. Rest in peace)</strong>

<div>( Maher Al-Attar, injury that led to the amputation of my right leg.)

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>Samah's Story</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>I, Samah, grew up as an orphan in Gaza, under the care of my hardworking mother who sacrificed everything to ensure a brighter future for me. Thanks to her efforts, I became an engineer, graduating from the Islamic University in 2019. I underwent extensive training, honing my skills in freelancing, Android development, and social media. Despite the upheaval caused by war, I remained committed to my professional development and endeavored to support my family while establishing my own business, Creative Touch.

</div>

<div><br />

<div><br />

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>However, my aspirations were abruptly halted when conflict erupted in Gaza. Displaced from my home, I found myself volunteering at an UNRWA shelter, assisting fellow displaced individuals. Witnessing countless tragic stories, I did my best to provide support despite the inherent risks involved.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div><strong>A New Beginning</strong>

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>Amidst this devastation, <strong>Maher and I found solace in each other</strong>. We got engaged during the war<strong>, deciding to build our own life and family </strong>despite the harsh reality. <strong>Love and humanity are our guiding lights</strong>. Together, we dream of reconstructing our home and creating a future filled with hope and resilience.

</div>

<div><br />

</div>

<div>We are reaching out for your help to rebuild our lives. <strong>Any donation, no matter how small, will go towards reconstructing our home and supporting us through this incredibly difficult time</strong>.

</div>

<div><br />

<div>Hello,
</div>
<div>My name Nermeen alfaleet I’m 28 years old from Gaza. Unfortunately, we are now at war, suffering from genocide, fear, and cannot survive. where there is constant famine and aggression. I lost all my simple dreams and happy memories.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>For the first time, I am asking for help because of the seriousness of the current situation and the extreme approach of the Israeli army to Deir Al-Balah. I ask you to help me and my family consisting of ten members, my father, mother, my sister, three brothers, my brother's wife ,my four-year-old nephew, Ayman and my niece baby ziena.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>‏We are tired of the bitterness of moving to escape the bombing. All we need now is to be in a safe and peaceful place with the necessities of life .
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>To do all of that, we have to leave Gaza by the Rafah crossing point, and that costs from $5000 to $8000 for adults and $2500 for non-adults.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I never imagined that I would reach this stage! So, in full pain, I ask all of you, my friends, to help me travel, so that I can protect what remains of my life and my family away from the current events in the Gaza Strip, and so that I can try to rise again.

Help Me and My Family Stay Alive in Gaza

<div>I am Lindsey Thorn and I am helping raise funds for my good friend Maryam's family. Here is their story:
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We were going through hell conditions of replacement, losing beloved ones, losing home, jobs and everything we knew.
</div>
<div>My family has become refugees. We are raising funds to rebuild our life. We will need a lot of support as we have lost everything we had. We are seeking help with housing, medical, education, and immigration costs until we can get back on our feet.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are a family of 4. Myself, my husband &amp; my two sons " OMAR and JAD "
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Our journey has been incredibly challenging. We once had a peaceful and stable life, but circumstances beyond our control have forced us into this difficult situation.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>This is me, my husband Waleed, and my two sons, Omar (9 yo) and Jad (3 yo).
</div>
<div><br />
</div><img alt="" media_type="3" src="https://d2g8igdw686xgo.cloudfront.net/80774937_1718456861754054_r." width="100%" />
<div><br />

<div>These are my two sons OMAR and JAD in our home last year.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>We have been displaced more than 10 times since losing our home, enduring severe hardships along the way, and my husband unfortunately still their with horrible conditions.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>In this campaign, we aim to raise the funds necessary to evacuate and rebuild our life after arriving in the United States.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The funds from this campaign will be allocated to:
</div>
<div>-Evacuating Waleed from Gaza
</div>
<div>- 3-6 months rent and living costs in the United States while we arrange our immigration paperwork
</div>
<div>- Passport and visa fees for immigration to the United States
</div>
<div>- Plane tickets to the United States for 8 people
</div>
<div>- School fees for my two children and brothers
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>We are determined to overcome these challenges and rebuild our lives.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The support we receive will be crucial in helping us navigate this difficult period and start anew in a safe environment. Your assistance will make a significant difference in our journey towards stability and hope.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Thank you for your generosity and compassion.

<div><br />
</div>
<div>Please help us to arrange to get my brother Ibrahim Hammad aged 16 who has Downs Syndrome and the rest of his family out of Gaza!
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Because Ibrahim has Downs Syndrome he is especially vulnerable during Israeli bombardments because the noise panics him so much that he can’t breathe, speak or communicate.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>During heavy bombing near our house in al-Zahraa district Ibrahim’s heart stopped three times and my parents had to perform artificial resuscitation on him to save his life.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>The bombing is also having a huge psychological impact on him as he can’t stop crying or control himself. Ibrahim can't live with these harsh conditions because of his condition and illness. He and the rest of the family have been displaced several times, from al-Zahraa to the ground of al-Aqsa university in Khan Younis and now to Rafah, and he has suffered psychological traumas during the displacement. We are extremely worried about what could happen if Israel now attacks Rafah.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>Ibrahim’s life in Gaza and the suffering war has caused him was covered in the international press just a couple of years ago - read it here <a href="https://www.thenation.com/article/world/palestine-disability-israel" target="_blank" rel="noreferrer noopener"><a href="https://www.thenation.com/article/world/palestine-disability-israel/" target="_blank" class="" rel="nofollow noopener noreferrer">https://www.thenation.com/article/world/palestine-disability-israel/</a></a> - the situation now is so much worse.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>A child, like the rest of the children in the world, has the right to live in a calm and beautiful environment free of wars, genocides and problems. We hope that God will remove this grief so that Ibrahim’s life can return to normal again and that the child Ibrahim, who has a kind and caring heart, can return to sharing his daily routine and the details of his life with his friends.
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div><br />
</div>
<div>I’m Amjad Hammad, Ibrahim’s brother, and I’m currently in Belgium. All money raised will go towards getting across the Rafah border into Egypt and out of war-torn Gaza. Every donation, no matter how small, is a huge help - thank you so much for your kindness.
