Standing by Jonathan and Larissa during this tragic loss

Hi, my name is Danica, and I’m starting this GoFundMe on behalf of my best friend Larissa and her young son, Jonathon.

On July 23, 2025, their world was shattered by the sudden and tragic loss of Andrew, Larissa’s partner and Jonathon’s loving father. No words can truly capture the heartbreak they are experiencing. Andrew was not only a devoted father and partner, but also a kind soul who cared deeply for his family and friends. His unexpected passing has left a void that can never be filled.

As Larissa begins to navigate life without her other half and Jonathon faces growing up without his dad, they are also faced with overwhelming emotional and financial challenges. This loss came without warning, leaving no time to prepare for what comes next.

This fundraiser is to help ease the burden — whether it be for day-to-day living costs (ie daycare, moving), therapy and support for Jonathon, or simply giving Larissa the space and time to grieve without the added weight of financial pressure.
