It is with heavy hearts that we share that Badal passed away suddenly and far too soon.

Badal left behind his loving wife, two young daughters and elderly mother.

Badal was a devoted husband to Sujata and a loving father to his two daughters, Naeva (19) and Nirva (14). He was also a deeply committed son. For the past more than a year, he stood faithfully by his father’s bedside, caring for him through illness until his father’s passing just two weeks ago. The family is now grieving two unimaginable losses in an incredibly short span of time.

Professionally, Badal was highly respected and successful in his career, serving as a leader at Fannie Mae. He was active, strong, social, and someone many leaned on. Above all, his greatest priority was his family.

His sudden loss has left Sujata and the girls facing profound emotional grief as well as financial responsibilities. One of Badal’s greatest wishes was to give his daughters the very best education — without the burden of student debt. He worked tirelessly towards that goal.

Our goal is to provide stability for family and support education for both girls and give the family support as they begin to navigate life without Badal.

Badal quietly and consistently showed up for others. He helped without hesitation. Now it is our turn to show up for Sujata, Naeva, and Nirva.
