Help 96 year old Vern Tollison rebuild!

Hi, my name is Wendy and I am fundraising for my dear 96 year old friend, Vern Tollison. Vern and my father met in Hudson automobile club years ago and he became a fast family friend. Early Saturday morning on June 1, 2024, a truck plowed through Vern’s home on Krueger Road in Wheatfield, narrowly missing him while he slept in his bed. Thankfully everyone involved in the accident is ok, but Vern’s modest home and its contents were destroyed. He does not have any family and although offered, refused to stay with us because he did not want to be an inconvenience. He is currently living in a motel. I am so grateful to live in the city of good neighbors because so many people have asked how they can help, including suggesting this gofundme page.
