Before this week, my mom was already dealing with the stress of her car breaking down, leaving her without reliable transportation. Then on Monday, while she was at work, the unthinkable happened: She was violently attacked with acid.

She is now facing the physical pain, medical treatments, and emotional toll/ptsd of recovering from such a traumatic attack. Thankfully, the person responsible is in police custody, but the road ahead will be challenging.

I was recently laid off, so I’m unable to give her the financial help she needs right now. This fundraiser will go toward medical care, transportation, and essential living expenses while she focuses on healing.
