Stand With Us: Help Bring Our Voices to Parliament Hill
On September 18th, 2025, Black Canadians and allies will gather on Parliament Hill in Ottawa for a historic demonstration. This is not just another rally—it is a united call for justice, demanding that the Canadian government pass legislation to end systemic anti-Black racism.
Since the Coalition to Abolish Anti-Black Racism was formed, members from across the country have poured their hearts, time, and personal resources into making this demonstration possible. Many of us have paid out-of-pocket for essential expenses—travel, printing, outreach, equipment, and more—because we believe so deeply in this cause.
But now, we need your help.
To make sure our voices are heard clearly and powerfully, we must cover the costs of:
Rental equipment and audio systems so that every speaker can be heard.
Travel expenses for those coming from outside Ottawa, ensuring broad representation from across the country.
This cause does not qualify for government funding or grants. Every step we’ve taken has been fueled by the determination of ordinary people who believe in justice. But we cannot do it alone.
Your donation—no matter the size—will help us stand proud on September 18th. It will ensure that when we gather before Parliament, we are united, strong, and heard. Together, we can send a message that cannot be ignored.
If you believe in justice, equity, and the future of Black Canadians, please consider donating today.
Together, we rise. Together, we change Canada.
Your donations will go directly toward covering the following costs:
Audio & Equipment Rental – $80.00
Rented from Long & McQuaid to ensure that every voice, every testimony, and every demand for justice is heard clearly on Parliament Hill.
Podium Purchase – $96.00
A permanent podium that can be reused for future demonstrations and advocacy events, ensuring sustainability for the movement.
Accommodation – $300.00
For organizers and speakers traveling from outside of Ottawa who need a place to stay during the demonstration.
Travel Expenses – $150.00

Covering bus fare, fuel, and other transportation costs for those coming from different provinces to represent their communities.
The members from the Coalition to Abolish Anti-black Racism in Canada intends to feed the homeless individuals at Minto Park once the demonstration ends on September 18th, and we're seeking support to purchase food items, utensils, and bottled water to facilitate our endeavour. Your donation no matter how small will go a long way.
