Stand with Us: Cancer's Tough Battle
Donation protected
I'm asking for help for hospital bills, gas, food, and to get our kids ready for school. My husband has been fighting lymphoma cancer since 2022. He went through a long year of chemotherapy and radiation. All signs were clear; cancer was gone until December 2024 when we saw a knot on his lower back. At this point, a knot formed in my stomach, fearing it was back. I took a picture and sent it to his doctor right away. On January 15th, the exact day we found out 2 years prior, we learned that it did return, except this time it's plasmacytic lymphoma. The doctor said chemotherapy again, but we need to try a transplant because with just chemotherapy, it will be back within months and gave him 6 months to live. So, transplant we did on May 25th this year. Things seemed to be going well besides the blood and magnesium infusion. He got to ring the bell and come home. Three days a week, doctor appointments, but we didn't mind. Last Saturday (6/21), things weren't too good. Back to the hospital we went; his temp was 101.5, and they kept him. They said his liver is failing along with his skin, not eating for 8 days, and drinking just to take medicine. I'm down to around 25 hours a week at work, and things are really getting tight. Any help is appreciated. Thank you and God bless.
