We’re Holding On — But We Need Your Help...
A Ministry Family’s Journey of Faith and Transition...
We are Jaciel and Stephanie, and we never imagined we’d find ourselves writing these words. After years of faithful service in full-time pastoral ministry in Garden City, Kansas, the Lord has called us to a new chapter — an internship in chaplaincy here in Kansas City. It’s an opportunity we believe God has prepared for us, but the transition has proven far more challenging than we anticipated.
Leaving our established ministry meant stepping away from the financial security we’d known for years. We answered this calling with faith, trusting that doors would open as we walked through this season of preparation and growth. However, the gap between our previous income and our current internship stipend has created a financial strain that threatens to overwhelm us.
The Reality We’re Facing...
We find ourselves counting every penny, stretching every meal, and praying daily for breakthrough. This isn’t just about paying bills — it’s about keeping our home stable for our children, ensuring they feel secure during this time of change, and preserving the hope that has carried us this far.
The weight of uncertainty presses on us daily. We’re working hard to rebuild and find our footing in this new calling, but the road is steeper and longer than we expected. Despite our best efforts to manage on our own, we’ve reached a point where we must humbly ask for help.
Why We’re Reaching Out...
Every bit of support we receive represents more than financial assistance — it’s a reminder that we’re not walking this path alone, that our community still cares, and that compassion is stronger than hardship. We’re asking, from the deepest place of humility, for your support during this transitional season.
Whether you can offer a financial gift, share our story with others, or lift us up in prayer, your kindness will help us weather this storm. We believe that with faith, perseverance, and the generosity of caring people like you, we’ll emerge from this season stronger and better equipped to serve others who face similar struggles.
If you’ve ever faced a moment when you didn’t know how you’d make it through, you understand the weight we carry. But we’re choosing to trust that this difficult chapter is preparing us for greater purpose in the ministry ahead.
Our Gratitude...
Thank you for taking the time to read our story, for caring about our family, and for considering how you might be part of our journey forward. In this season where we desperately need support, you represent hope and the reminder that we are not forgotten.
With deep love and gratitude,
Jaciel and Stephanie
