Help us free our father from ICE detention center

On Sunday morning, July 6, 2025, my dad was taken by ICE while setting up his puesto, like he does every day to provide for our family. He has a valid work permit, and has always worked hard. He’s the heart of our home and the one who keeps everything going.

My dad is also diabetic and needs medication with every meal. We’re deeply worried about his health and safety while he’s inside the detention. Our biggest hope right now is to bring him home where he belongs.

What hurts even more is that after they put him in their vehicle, the ICE agents posed for a photo, turning one of our most painful moments into something that felt so disrespectful and cold.

My mom is doing her best to stay strong, but with my dad gone, it’s been incredibly hard. He was the main provider, and right now we’re just trying to get through each day and support one another.
