We are fundraising for an incredibly special family facing a future that no one should have to face.

Our friend , Ryan Horsfall, is 40 years old and had the earth shattering diagnosis of Motor Neurone Disease in December 2025.

For those that do not know what MND is, it is a progressive neurological condition that gradually affects the nerves controlling movement, leading to increasing muscle weakness and loss of independence over time. MND is fatal, life limiting and there is no cure. It is truly one of the worst, debilitating and unrelenting diseases anyone can endure.

Ryan was a young, fit, strong man who has always worked tirelessly as a self employed plumber to provide for his beautiful wife Kimi, and their 3 young children Lois, Jude and Sidney. This diagnosis means that Ryan can no longer work, which instantly left the family without their main source of income.

They have no life insurance or critical illness to cover them now or in the future, and whilst money is the least of their concerns, the mortgage and bills will still need to be paid.

The end goal has always been for £250,000 to be raised. We want to make life as comfortable as possible for Ryan, Kimi and the children whilst they navigate life with MND and beyond.

The biggest gift we could possibly give to Ryan, is to provide financial security for his wife and children's future, something life insurance would have done.

We are raising this money for a trust fund that has been established to support the family. The Horsfall Discretionary Trust is registered with HMRC and is managed in accordance with the legal trust deed by the appointed trustees.

We know everyone that knows the family is desperate to do what they can to help, so please show your support and give what you can, when you can.
