Stand with Sunny: A Mother's Battle Against Stage 4 Cancer

As salaamu alaikum,

Help sister Sunny today. “Those who in charity spend of their goods by night and by day, in secret and in public, have their reward with their Lord: on them shall be no fear, nor shall they grieve.” (2:274)

Sister Sunny, a beloved member of the Islamic Center of Tacoma community for 20 years, has been diagnosed with incurable stage 4 bone cancer. As a widowed mother of five young children, she is preparing them for life without her and needs our support.

She currently is unable to work. She stopped working in September and has since exhausted her benevolence fund to pay rent.

We are looking to cover her rent, medical bills, end of life care and costs, and help to fund support for her children.
